Learning Design Default Cover Page

About the Default Cover Page

A. The page is set up as a table, to keep the page elements in place

  • If you do not want to use a table layout you can remove it:

    • Select the table

    • Click Table Layout in the top right corner of your screen

    • Click Convert to Text

  1. Along the top is a placeholder for the Course ID

    • You can move this placeholder to someplace else on the page

    • But you MUST NOT CHANGE or remove the Word Field placeholder or the style name "zLGP Course ID"

  2. Next is a logo placeholder - replace the Great Circle Learning logo with your company logo

  3. The phrase New Design Plan is a placeholder for the Title you will add for the cover page as you start a new Learning Design document

    • You can move this placeholder to someplace else on the page

    • But you MUST NOT CHANGE or remove the style name "LDT Program Name"

    • And there is no need to change the phrase New Design Plan because this is replaced by the Title you add when you start a new Learning Design document

  4. The phrase Instructional Systems Design Document is a document identifier that you can edit or remove

  5. A Paragraph Mark that you can use to add other text or images

  6. Another Paragraph Mark that you can use to add other text or images

IMPORTANT

  • You can make any changes you want to the default cover page.

  • BUT your custom cover page MUST have

    • Placeholder text that contains the Word Paragraph Style of "LDT Program Name"

    • And a Word Field placeholder marked with a "zLGP Course ID" style name.

Without these two paragraph styles and one special Field control, certain automation functions of the LDT software will not work.
