Course 00: The LeaderGuide Pro Ribbon

The LeaderGuide Pro ribbon is your interface to the software. To reap the benefits of LeaderGuide Pro you MUST use the ribbon.

The ribbon is your key to success when using LeaderGuide pro. Learn how to keep it accessible.

Understanding how the ribbon is organized makes it easy to use.

Use the buttons in the Start group to begin a new facilitator guide or participant guide, as well as to open existing guidebooks, and to attach the LeaderGuide Pro functionality to another document.

Use the buttons in the Module/Lesson Control group to add new Modules and Lessons, continue a Lesson, add a Break, and access Librarian to Archive, Insert, Reorder and Delete Modules and Lessons.

Use the buttons in the Text/Table Formatting group to assign LeaderGuide Pro style formats to text and bulleted and numbered lists. And more.

Use the buttons in the Controls group to automate document-wide updates, navigation, extracts and imports.

Use the buttons in the Content Blocks group to insert icons and table rows to chunk instructional content by trainer action and make the instruction easier to follow.

Use the buttons in the Insert group to insert capture lines for notes, text and images from other documents into content blocks, and to add ICues - instructional cues - for visual guidance to compliment your instructions. And, to open the document’s Navigation pane.
