Lesson 1: Preparing a Document for Conversion

If you have a Word document, it must be stripped of:

Cover page

• Table of Contents

• Headers & Footers & Page Numbers

• Headings 1, 2, & 3

To do this you can:

• delete things manually, or

• select the entire document and use the Clear All Formatting button on Word’s Home ribbon, or

Use the Convert to LGPro function under the Parts button on the LGPro ribbon
