You need system admin privileges. And you must download an install file and then follow our instructions to run it correctly. It’s more than you’re used to, we know.

What You Need to Know - Technical
LeaderGuide Pro is an add-in to Microsoft Word that runs locally within Windows on a PC. It is not cloud based.
🛠️ To install it - you must download the LeaderGuide Pro install file and SAVE it on your computer. Then, close Word if it is open, and go to your Downloads folder. You - or someone with the permissions necessary to install software - must click on the install file to run it.
✔️ Once the install is complete - if someone other than the user ran the install - the person who will be using LeaderGuide Pro needs to log in and open Word. Then, click the LeaderGuide Pro tab along the top of your screen to bring up the LeaderGuide Pro ribbon. Click any button to bring up the registration wizard. You must register and enter a key even if you are trying the software for free. A key will be emailed to you.
Limitations during the Free Trial
♦️ You will see various markings indicating that you are in a free trial document.
♦️ You must use the Open button on the LeaderGuide Pro ribbon to open any files you create during the free trial.
♦️ Documents you create during the free trial are locked for limited use and may not be available once the free trial ends.
♦️ To share your demo files with others, PDF them.
These limitations go away once you have a license to use LeaderGuide Pro.
What You Need to Know - Practical
To use LeaderGuide Pro:
🖥️ Open Word and bring up the LeaderGuide Pro ribbon. Hoover over the buttons to see what they do.
✔️ Click the NEW button to start a new facilitator guide or participant guide. Save your work before you close out.
✔️ Save your LeaderGuide Pro files the same way you save any other Word file.
🖥️ To open a LeaderGuide Pro document you’ve created while trying the software for free, use the OPEN button on the LeaderGuide Pro ribbon.
✔️ To share a LeaderGuide Pro document you’ve created while trying the software for free, PDF it.
Everything you create using LeaderGuide Pro is yours.
