Richard is an expert at applying critical thinking to address large-scale business challenges, and at GCL he is responsible for the design and development of the company’s products and corporate education interventions with its clients.
Over his more than 30 year career Richard has been responsible for the development and delivery of hundreds of training & development initiatives for major organizations including: Bristol-Myers Squibb, Guardian Life Insurance Company, Hoechst-Roussel, IBM, Novartis, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Schering-Plough, Scherring A.G., Wyeth-Ayerst, Sanofi-Aventis, the FDA, the U.S. Army Training Command, the U.S. Army Logistics College, the Singapore Institute of Management, the Singapore Civil Service Institute, and the American Management Association.
In addition to his skills in instructional design, writing and education, Richard is also an expert software developer; his programs are in use world-wide.
He has blended his choices of educational pursuit, computer science at the undergraduate level and educational psychology at the master’s level into a successful career. Richard also holds two professional certifications from the Institute for Certification of Computing Professionals, a U.S. Merchant Marine Officer License from the USCG, and in 2011 he was honored by Microsoft Corporation with their Microsoft Community Contributor award.
